LAMORINDA, CA — More than 65,000 people strolled through downtown Lafayette during the 2025 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, browsing art and handmade crafts, sampling food, wine, and microbrews, and listening to music across four stages.
The festival returns Sept. 19 and 20 to downtown. Activities will stretch along Mt. Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette Circle, and La Fiesta Square.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Four stages, including the Community Stage, will feature local entertainment.
Admission, parking, and music are free. The Visitor's Guide provides festival details, and the music schedule lists performances.
Kid Zones will offer rides and activities at varying prices. The festival's Family Fun page provides additional information.
Festivalgoers can buy wine and beer glasses, drink tickets, and discounted combination packages at ticket booths throughout the event. Vendors will accept only the current year's glasses and tickets. Buyers must be at least 21 years old to purchase glasses or drink tickets or receive alcoholic beverages. The festival's Food & Drink page provides more details.
Bike East Bay will provide free bike valet service at 81 Lafayette Circle.
Festival tips recommend parking at any BART station and riding BART to Lafayette Station to avoid traffic. Visitors can arrive early for cooler weather, smaller crowds, and the best selection.
