LAFAYETTE, CA — A refrigerant leak forced Whole Foods Market to evacuate the building and close Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at the Lafayette Whole Foods Tuesday morning after an alarm alerted staff to a leak in the refrigeration system.
The store was evacuated and closed while firefighters investigated the leak.
A store manager said the location reopened at about noon.
