LAMORINDA, CA — Rohnert Park detectives arrested a 37-year-old Moraga man suspected of sexually assaulting a a 13-year-old, police said.
Evan Alexander Patipa was arrested in Moraga on Oct. 13 and transported to Sonoma County, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
Authorities booked Patipa into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on suspicion of two sexual acts with the teen.
Rohnert Park authorities said investigators matched follow-up interviews and evidence with the victim's statements, giving them probable cause to arrest Patipa.
Police said they would withhold additional details about the alleged offenses to protect the victim's identity, privacy, and well-being.
