Armed Man Arrested At Orinda BART Station

LAMORINDA, CA — BART Police arrested a man at the Orinda BART station for brandishing a knife, according to crime reports.

Twenty-year-old Richmond resident Robert Quiroz was taken into custody just after 5:30 a.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.

This is the first arrest at the Orinda BART station since November of last year, when Patrick Masai of Oakland was picked up for threatening passengers, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.
