Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Unleashes "March Madness" During Its Winter Clearance Event!
Obviously, this is not a photo of a bank; but you will definitely save a lot of money here during the Winter Clearance event.
Member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, remind you not to let the warm temperatures from midday through late afternoon lull you into a spring mode just yet. The crisp, if not frigid early mornings present the need for appropriate clothing; the layered approach comes to mind. To that end, the annual Winter Clearance will begin Tuesday, March 3 and will conclude Saturday, March 7.
An extensive inventory will include sweaters, jackets and scarves of varying styles, weights and lengths to prepare you for all climatic whims that Mother Nature might unfurl. You’ll also have a chance to step up your game with a pair of shoes and cinch the deal with a killer belt. These functional yet fashionable pieces, originally priced at a fraction of their value, have again been reduced to insanely low prices; March Madness Rocks! And the insanity ensues throughout the week.
On Tuesday, March 3, through Thursday, March 5, all merchandise will be marked at HALF price. On Friday, March 6, all merchandise will be priced at $2. On Saturday, March 7, you can fill a bag for a mere $5! If you want to stay “far from the madding crowd,” you might want to limit yourself to one visit. Or, for those of you who shop with a vengeance, truly a lost art form, you might need to revisit the thrift shop later in the week.

Call me crazy, but either way, you’ll want to plan ahead for this shopping coup by carving out space for your new acquisitions. Ridding your closets and bureaus of items you no longer wear will be a great start. Rather than discarding these items, help someone renew by donating them to the thrift shop.
