BART Equipment Problems Shuts Down Service From Concord to Walnut Creek

An equipment problem is disrupting BART service between the Walnut Creek and Concord stations this evening, a dispatcher for the agency said.

The problem was reported at about 5:15 p.m. near the Pleasant Hill station and has trains stopped in both directions along the Pittsburg-Bay Point line, the dispatcher said.

No other information about the incident was immediately available from BART.
