The Lafayette City Council Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026 starts at 6pm with a closed session. The open session starts at 7pm and includes:
·Memorial Day Recognition & presentation on the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center
·Presentation on the Friends of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center (part of the Lafayette Civic Values: Lifelong Learning and the Arts series)
·Recognition of the 2026 Spring graduates of the Citizens Police Academy
·Update from MCE Clean Energy
·Annual presentation from the Capital Project Assessment Committee (CPAC) including the Proposed Capital Improvement Program (“5 Year CIP”) for 2027-2031.
·Adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Capital Improvement Program and updated 5-Year CIP
·Authorize use of State Gas Tax (SB-1) funds towards Lafayette’s 2027 Pavement Maintenance Project
·Administrative Updates to ensure enforceability of City requirements for EV parking and charging for new multifamily developments and hotels/motels.
