FREE live concerts in downtown Lafayette on Friday evenings in June: June 5, 12, &amp; 26, 6pm-8pm.
Rock the Plaza Concert Series 2026: Join the Lafayette Chamber in Lafayette Plaza for FREE live music Fridays in June! Bring a blanket or chairs and get take-out or bring a picnic. June 5: Jimbo Scott and Yesterday’s Biscuits; June 12: The Kyle Athayde Dance Party; June 26: Lamorinda Idol Finalists. Please note, there will not be a concert on the Friday, June 19th holiday. Vienna Teng’s The Hymn of Acxiom offers a mesmerizing and unsettling meditation on how technology listens, learns, and quietly influences our lives. Marie-Claire Saindon’s satirical flat earth exposes the absurdities of fake news and “alternative facts,” playfully questioning the reliability of our senses in a post-truth era. In contrast, Susan LaBarr’s luminous Where the Light Begins reminds us that truth often emerges quietly, like the first light of dawn, calling us to listen inward and seek clarity amid the noise.<a href="https://www.womensing.org/truth" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"></a>​

The event will feature fun for all ages, including free food and ice cream, tours of our wastewater treatment plant, big trucks, hands-on games and activities, educational exhibits, toilet racers (think go-karts, but with toilets), and much more.
