LAMORINDA, CA — The Canyon Road bridge in Moraga will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
"The closure is necessary to repave of sections of the bridge roadway approach," according to the town website.
The Moraga Police Department said that arrangements have been made for emergency vehicles to respond across the bridge in an emergency.

The new bridge replaces one built in 1936.
