Cécile McLorin Salvant Takes Siesta Valley Stage In East Bay

LAMORINDA, CA — Three-time Grammy Award winner Cécile McLorin Salvant will perform Tuesday at Siesta Valley Bowl.

Salvant’s repertoire includes jazz, blues, theatrical songs, and interpretations of the American songbook.

The venue also has launched Jazz | World | Blues @ Siesta Valley Bowl, an ongoing series featuring artists from several musical traditions. Stanley Clarke and DakhaBrakha performed during the venue’s first season.

Upcoming concerts include the Pete Escovedo Orchestra, Al Di Meola, Elvin Bishop and Charlie Musselwhite, La Santa Cecilia, and later Super Diamond, a Neil Diamond tribute band.

The Siesta Valley Bowl in Orinda formerly operated as the Bruns Amphitheater, home of Cal Shakes.
