Lee Mun Wah - Creating Community in a Diverse School Environment - Best Practices in Teaching Leadership: Distinguished Speaker Series 2014-2015

This workshop provides practical techniques on developing alliances and a sense of community between multicultural groups. Lee Mun Wah will focus on how to create an environment of trust and build a sense of community where similarities and differences are valued and acknowledged. Participants will learn strategies to motivate and retain multicultural groups and techniques on how to listen and respond to intercultural communications. Insights, ideas, and suggested resources needed to build and maintain alliances interpersonally and cross-culturally in the classroom will be shared.

Presentation includes lunch. Please note Single Session Attendees may register on-line up to 24 hours in advance.
