Contra Costa Coronavirus Update: 149 New Cases, 4 More Deaths
There are 149 new cases of cases of the coronavirus and four additional deaths in Contra Costa County as of Tuesday.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — There are 149 new cases of cases of the coronavirus in Contra Costa County as of Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 7,304, according to newly released county health department data.
There have been four additional deaths reported in the past 24 hours, according to Costra Conta County Health Services, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 108.
The county has tested 130,380 people, with a 7.5 percent positivity rate. There are currently 105 hospitalized patients in the county, and 721 patients hospitalized in the Bay Area.

The breakdown in county cases by age is as follows:
- 0-4: 202 cases
- 5-12: 294 cases
- 13-18: 413 cases
- 19-30: 1,638 cases
- 31-40: 1,428 cases
- 41-50: 1,215 cases
- 51-60: 979 cases
- 61-70: 562 cases
- 71-80: 296 cases
- 81-90: 195 cases
- 91+: 75 cases
