Drop-Off Ballot Box Is Up & Ready At St. Mary's College In Moraga
The customary, ballot drop-off box at Moraga town offices is not planned for the upcoming election.
MORAGA, CA — Local voters now can submit their vote-by-mail ballots at the newly opened, drop-off site at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
Ballots can be left anytime— day or night — through 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the location at 1928 St. Mary's Road. "Different than in years past, there will NOT be a ballot drop-off box at the Moraga Town offices as the building is still closed to the public due to the pandemic," town officials said.

For Lamorinda voters, there also are drop-off boxes at the Lafayette School District office, 3477 School St. in Lafayette and at Orinda City Hall at 22 Orinda Way.
Also in Moraga, there will be an early voting site at the Moraga Library, 1500 St. Mary's Road, for those who wish to vote or drop off vote-by-mail ballots. The site will be open: Friday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. It is closed Sunday, Nov. 1.

While Contra Costa County Elections Division is discouraging in-person voting due to COVID-19, Moraga residents do have the option to wait until Election Day Tuesday to cast votes .
"Those who still want to vote in person will need to go to their correct polling location — Moraga Library, 1500 St. Mary's Road or Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, 10 Moraga Valley Lane," the town said. Moraga residents will need to report to the polling locations listed on their ballots, officials said.
