The newly formed $$$ Out! People In! Coalition invites the general public to a free documentary afternoon at the Lafayette Library Community Room on Sunday, April 7 from 12:30-2:30. (Doors open at 12 noon.) The award-winning documentary Pricele$$ will be shown as well as How Big Money Rule$ the U$A – an impactful presentation followed by a live Q and A Skype session both led
by Lawrence Lessig, well known Harvard Law Professor and founder of RootStrikers. As stated in the New York Times, “Mr. Lessig’s analysis of the distorting effects of money is dead on.” RSVP’s are appreciated but not required. Email MoneyOutPeopleIn@yahoo.com.

All are invited to visit the tables of the founding groups that include: Central Contra Costa MoveOn (the coordinating group), Tri-Valley MoveOn, Common Cause, League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley, RootStrikers, Move to Amend, the Brady Campaign and the Mt. Diablo Peace and Justice Center.

$$$ Out! People In! was begun in January, 2013 after a meeting led by the Central Contra Costa MoveOn and Tri-Valley MoveOn chapters. Their members were appalled at the huge amount of money spent in the 2012 campaigns and the impact of the donors on the direction of our country. $$$ Out! People In! has taken off since that meeting.
