The Lamorinda Pétanque Club is hosting the 2011 Men's Pan American Qualification Tournament at their Saint Mary's Road courts on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 of June.
This event will determine the U.S. Team that will compete in the 2011 Pan American Selection Tournament to be held on October 1 and 2. The U.S. Team will compete with the other countries in the Pan American Confederation (USA, Canada, Haiti and Mexico) for one of two spots at the F.I.P.J.P Men's World Championship to be held in Marseilles in 2012. The F.I.P.J.P is the International Federation of Pétanque and Jeu Provencal, a worldwide organization of licensed Pétanque players.
