Lamorinda Wildfire Contained At 5 Acres
MOFD, Cal Fire and East Bay Regional Parks firefighters all attacked the blaze.

LAMORINDA, CA — A 5 acre wildland fire near Orinda has been completely contained. No structures were burned and there were no injuries.
The Moraga-Orinda Fire Department, Cal Fire and East Bay Regional Parks Fire units all descended on the fire just after 2:30 p.m. The fire was in a "Mutual Threat Zone" on the ridge West of Orinda, South of Highway 24 and East of Sibley Volcanic Regional Park.
Eleven engines, 1 helicopter, 1 fire crew, 2 water tenders and 4 overhead were assigned to the fire, which was contained around 5 p.m.

Police blame the fire on an electrical transformer.
