Parents will get tips on how to establish positive, pre-school activities and routines at home to support their child's success in school.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — The Mt. Diablo Unified School District Community Speaker Series will next focus on school readiness with First 5 Contra Costa.
Families are invited to attend and learn how to prepare for that first day of kindergarten, and how they can make the day as smooth and enjoyable as possible for little ones new to school.
Parents and guardians will get expert advice on how to establish positive, pre-school activities and routines at home to support their child’s success in school. Experts will also have tips for that important first day goodbye.

The session will be held Tuesday, April 18, 6 – 8 p.m. at Riverview Middle School, 205 Pacific Ave., Bay Point, 94565.
The Community Speakers Series is provided to families to support goals of the district’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). As part of the key goal for Parent/Family & Community Engagement, parents, families and community members will be informed, engaged, and empowered as partners with MDUSD to support student learning.
