Come to the Lafayette Community Garden this Saturday, May 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM for a fun day of making music in the garden!
Wind chimes can be made with an exciting mixture of elements. We’ll provide fasteners, adhesives, and basic materials, like filament, string, drills, glues, and bamboo. But to make your wind chime uniquely yours, bring items like old keys, bottle caps, earrings, beads, flatware, (smooth) sea glass, and industrial hardware. Just use your imagination!
Make one for yourself and maybe have time to make one for the garden. Search the web for inspiration for your music maker!
So what are you waiting for? Plan a trip to the Lafayette Community Garden THIS SATURDAY and make a treat for your eyes and ears!
All ages a welcome! (Adult supervision required for children 10 years & younger.)
We're located at 3932 Mt. Diablo Blvd. (across from Lafayette Reservoir)
