Friendly Visitor: Lamorinda Photo Of The Week

LAMORINDA, CA — Kathy Franklin of Moraga has a way with creatures. We previously shared a photo of a baby bunny that her cat brought home. After cuddling with the bunny for a few minutes, and introducing it to her dog Sugar, Kathy let the bunny go back into the wild.

Now she has shared a photo and video taken in her backyard of a tiny bird that climbed onto her finger. "I couldn’t believe it. More fun with nature!" After stroking the bird for several seconds, it climbed up onto her finger where it remained for several second before flying away.
