Get Your Tickets: Miramonte Drama Department's Fall Play 'Arabian Nights'
Miramonte High School's production will run for three evenings, Nov. 5-7.

On November 5, 6, and 7 at 7:00 p.m., the Miramonte Players present Mary Zimmerman’s Arabian Nights.
Though written in 2005 and performed with critical acclaim at Berkeley Rep, the play is an adaptation of the 9th century folklore, the 1001 Arabian Nights.

The play focuses on a peasant girl named Sheherezade who saves her own life by telling stories to her would-be killer King Sharyar.
Through these stories (and stories within stories), Sharyar’s imagination is captured and he learns the power of empathy.

Audiences can look forward to an ensemble cast that helps move these multi–layered stories forward through original music created and played by the cast, song, belly dancing, and more.
