Moraga Grass Fire Out: Blaze Near Campolindo High School Threatened Homes
Some nearby residents evacuated as a precaution.

LAMORINDA, CA — A grass fire that burned above Campolindo High School is out, but not before it burned 16 acres and threatened homes on Hansen Court, according to Fire Chief Stephen Healy of the Moraga-Orinda Fire District.
The fire went to four alarms. The key to halting the spread of the flames was water drops.
No evacuations were ordered, but some residents chose to leave.
