Heat Wave Washes Over Lamorinda
Thursday might be the hottest day, with temperatures expected to hit 90 degrees.
Lamorinda's week started with heat — and scorching sunshine. And more is on the way.
Lafayette sweated out the high 80s Monday afternoon, apparently cracking the record of 84 for this date a year ago, according to Wunderground.com. The temp is predicted to swelter on up to 90 degrees Thursday, then swoon a couple degrees on Friday, back to 90 on Saturday, with a big drop to a pleasant high of 75 on Monday.
