How to Grow a Nature Explorer

Fun and Educational Nature Classes for Curious Preschoolers

Beginning March 22, The Gardens at Heather Farm offers a weekday morning activity for fun, inquisitive, nature-loving kids ages two to five with a program called “Nature Explorers.” Designed and led by The Gardens’ Youth Education team, Nature Explorers features nature-themed stories, garden walks, hands-on activities, and fun projects, all designed for curious preschoolers and led by amazing teachers. Every activity in the Nature Explorers program is inspired by nature and designed to teach children the importance of protecting the environment.

Classes are held in both classroom and outdoor settings on Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sessions are six-weeks long and start March 22. Registration is $80 for Gardens at Heather Farm members and $100 for non-members. Registration is limited to 15 children. Parent/adult participation is required. Children under two may attend free of charge with their registered older sibling and siblings over age 2 receive a 10% discount. Light snacks are provided.
