Just In Today: Gold Audi A6 In Lamorinda Possibly Connected to Break-In, Suspicious Activity

From the Lafayette Police Department:

At 10:50 a.m. today, a resident in the 4100 block of Hidden Valley Road reported a suspicious subject at their door.

The resident identified that a young African-American male was at their door, asking for directions to the freeway. The subject was associated with a Gold Colored Audi A6. The resident contacted LPD Officers who responded to the scene.

As officers were in the area, a residential burglary was reported in the City of Orinda (to the south of the Lafayette call). A witness identified two African-American males and a gold-colored Audi associated with that incident.

A short time later, Lafayette Officers were advised of an attempted burglary on Los Arabis Circle, which is to the north of the Hidden Valley residence.

It is believed these three incidents are associated.

Residents are asked to look out for a gold Audi A6 in their neighborhood. The vehicle may be associated with the incidents. If located in your neighborhood, please call 911.
