Lamorinda Hidden Venue Brings Big Music Surprises

New management wants to make unforgettable music at Orinda's Outdoor Bowl.

LAMORINDA, CA — Siesta Valley Bowl in Orinda has struck a major deal with Blue Note Entertainment Group that could make live music scene in the East Bay livelier.

The 1,000-capacity outdoor venue will host 75–100 concerts annually, ranging from rock and jazz to bluegrass and Latin music, offering audiences an intimate yet festival-quality experience amid the scenic Berkeley Hills.

The partnership gives Orinda residents a chance to see top-tier artists without leaving their community, while boosting local culture, creating jobs, and supporting nearby businesses.

David Lefkowitz, senior vice president of talent at Blue Note, will oversee booking and programming, while former SF Masonic's Suman Chatterjee takes the helm as general manager, handling operations, production, and artist hospitality.

“We’re not just booking shows—we’re curating experiences,” Siesta Valley Bowl President Michael Karp said in a news release. “This is where East Bay music fans will discover their next favorite band in one of Northern California’s most beautiful outdoor settings.”
