Blast From the Past: Anyone Remember Lamorinda's Air Force?

Not long ago – if you measure time as a 50-something – a squadron of military-style aircraft prowled the skies over Lamorinda on a regular basis.  They lasted a pretty long time, too, if you measure such things with a tweener's eye for what is durable and lasting.

While here, they amassed more than a few flight records and a couple of one-of-a-kinds befitting Lamorinda's status as a unique, trend-setting place.

Some called them "Lamorinda's Air Force," and we here at Patch have vivid memories of their aerial derring-do. Do you?
