"The Merry Wives of Windsor" Opens at Bentley School

In our first ever Dual-Campus Shakespeare production, Bentley's Theater Department proudly presents "The Merry Wives of Windsor."

Set in the Technicolor 1950s, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page are the Lucy and Ethel of their day. The two women find themselves pursued by the fat and boisterous Falstaff. Rather than reject him outright, they mislead him in a series of pranks, raising the jealousy of Mr. Ford, and teaching Falstaff not to “mess with” Windsor wives. The beautiful daughter, Anne Page, is being wooed by a brash French doctor, a rich geek, and a third suitor more to her liking.

Physical comedy, mistaken identity, innkeepers on roller skates ... this play has something for everyone! Please join us in recognizing the dedicated work of 25+ students from our two campuses.
