Missing Contra Costa County Girl Possibly Being Held Against Her Will: Police
Richmond police are asking the public for any info to help find the 16 year old last reported seen New Year's Day.
A 16-year-old Richmond girl who has been missing since New Year’s Day is possibly being held against her will and investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding her, a police lieutenant said today.

Belinda Jean Carson was reported missing Sunday after last being seen at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at her home, Richmond police Lt. Joey Schlemmer said. Investigators have information indicating that the teen may be with a man who is “refusing to allow her to come home,” Schlemmer said.
Belinda has no history of being a runaway.

She is described as a black girl who is about 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 165 pounds and has black hair, brown eyes and a nose piercing, Schlemmer said.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to call Sgt. Robert Gray with the Police Department’s youth services division at (510) 621-1585.
