Moraga PD: Out of Gas & Singing About It

April 20
Party complaint. Reported at 11:17 p.m., there was a complaint to Moraga police of a 17-year-old inviting "a few friends" over to a Camelford Court residence and then "about 100 high school age subjects entered the property." Officers did not locate any intoxicated teenagers or any in possession of an alcohol beverage, and said that "unwanted teenagers" had already started to leave when they arrived.

Gunshots? At 9:48 p.m., a Tharp Drive resident reported hearing what sounded like 15 gunshots coming from the open space to the south of his neighborhood. Officers were unable to find any source of gunshots. There was only one call received about gunshots.

April 21
More cows. At 10:05 a.m., there was a reported of 10 cows outside their fence at Rheem Boulevard and St. Mary's Road and about 10 feet from the roadway. Upon arrival, an officer observed the cows walking in the creek and "did not appear to pose a hazard."

No occasion to sing. Reported at 11:04 a.m. in the 600 block of Moraga Road, a 42-year-old Oakland woman was parked in a Nissan, "singing loudly." She was reportedly low on gas and waiting for a family member to pick her up or bring her gas money. No action was taken as  "the officer determined that subject did not appear to be a danger to herself or others."

April 22
No headlights on trail. Responding to a 9:39 p.m. complaint, officers located a juvenile on a dirt bike without headlines on the regional Lafayette-Moraga Trail. They determined he was on probation for a prior vandalism. They released the juvenile to his guardian.
