Moraga Pear And Wine Festival Returns Saturday

LAMORINDA, CA — Moraga will celebrate its newest sculpture — a pear, of course — with a 10:30 a.m. ribbon cutting Saturday before the annual Pear and Wine Festival fills Moraga Commons Park with food, music, wine tasting, and family activities.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Community and artisan booths, pear pies, inflatables, food, and new attractions will join familiar festival favorites.

A ceremonial tree planting will open the festival at 11 a.m.

Organizers will present the Business Person of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, and 2026 Citizen of the Year at 11:45 a.m. at the band shell.

The HouseRockers will launch their concert at noon.

Moraga first graders and several Lamorinda Idols will sing “Hills of Moraga” during the 1:30 p.m. intermission. The HouseRockers will resume the concert at 2 p.m.

The Pear and Wine Festival will come to an end at 3 p.m.

Organizers advise visitors to buy their pear pies early because they always sell out.
