Nest Full Of Eggs: Photo Of The Day

LAMORINDA, CA — Lesley Rosselli is being entertained by nature during the stay-at-home order. She tells Patch, "We have a pair of house finches that recently made this nest and laid eggs. When they were scouting the location mama bird flew into my kitchen when I left the door open so I ended up catching her with my bare hands and set her on her way - guess she enjoyed that as they started building the nest soon after. Papa bird would occasionally land on the wreath when I had the door open, too. Which is why I’m so surprised they built the nest where they did."
