Orinda Man Carjacked At Gunpoint
The man was in his own driveway Sunday when it happened.
LAMORINDA, CA ā An Orinda man was carjacked at gunpoint in his own driveway Sunday, according to Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Jimmy Lee. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
The carjacking happened in the 400 block of Camino Sobrante. Orinda Police were alerted at 10:10 a.m. Both police and the California Highway Patrol searched for the suspects and the stolen vehicle ā a Toyota Tacoma with California license plate 8R01259.
Descriptions of the two suspects were not released. They left behind a silver Audi RS5. It led CHP officers on a pursuit just before carjacking. The Audi was reported stolen earlier this month.
