The Orinda Community Park tennis courts will be closed for maintenance beginning Monday, August 17. All three of Orinda’s public tennis courts will undergo a slip-sheet overlay process, a specially constructed ply felt that is built for strength, flexibility and the allowance of movement from substrates. Vintage Contractors, Inc. of San Francisco is handling the project that is expected to last 4-6 weeks. Work will also be taking place at the practice wall and that area will be closed during a portion of resurfacing project. This project is being paid for by Park Dedication Fees.
