Reminder: New Spa Ribbon-Cutting in Moraga on Thursday

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Thursday, May 8 at 5 p.m. with free chair massages, facial scans and hand treatments at the new Massage Envy Spa, opening at 558 Center St. in the Rheem Shopping Center  in Moraga.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in Moraga and offer our members and guests affordable healthy skin facials and customized therapeutic massages,” said Laura Lott, the new Massage Envy Spa owner. 

The opening of the Lamorinda spa marks a milestone for Lott and her general manager Joy Moore. 

Longtime friends, Lott and Moore left corporate human-resource positions to pursue the business opportunity of health and wellness through a nationally known brand.

The new 3,500 square-foot Massage Envy will have 11 therapy rooms and be open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
