Shooter Report False & Social Post Harmless At St. Mary's

MORAGA, CA — What was thought to be a suspicious social media targeted toward St. Mary's College of California turned out to be harmless Thursday, Moraga police said.

Also, reports of an active shooter on campus Thursday turned out to be false, police said.

An investigation led officers to determine that the social post was not connected to a threat or intended to be threatening.

Police do not believe there is any danger to anyone at St. Mary's College as a result of the post.
