Traffic Backed Up From Orinda To Concord
At one point, all westbound lanes of Highway 24 were blocked.

LAMORINDA, CA — Traffic is so horrendous on Highway 24 in Orinda Tuesday morning, the backup stretches over to I-680 and up to Concord.
The cause of the monumental foul-up was a multiple-vehicle crash that blocked all westbound lanes. The pile-up happened at 5:45 a.m. just east of Wilder Road.
The final lane reopened shortly before 8:15, but it will take a significant amount of time to clear the traffic. The sig-alert was in effect from 6 to 8:23 a.m.
