Vacant Lafayette Businesses Prompt Civic Action
What new stores and restaurants would you patronize in Lafayette? Are there services that you need but have to leave town to get?

LAMORINDA, CA — A panel of experts will discuss the state of retail in downtown Lafayette with the City Council and Planning Commission today.
The discussion will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. It is open to all.
The council asked for the workshop in response to an increase in vacant storefronts and to explore ideas for encouraging retail growth.

The panel will consist of downtown property owners Basil Christopoulos and Steve Cortese, John Cumbelich of John Cumbelich and Associates and Craig Semmelmeyer of Main Street Property Services, Inc.
