Volunteers Needed For Miramonte High School Campus Cleanup

Mark Earth Day by performing gardening and clean-up tasks at the high school. Sign up now for a 2 or 4 hour shift.

LAMORINDA, CA — Miramonte High School needs some sprucing up.

April 23 has been set aside for a campus-wide clean-up and beautification day in celebration of Earth Day. Volunteers are needed to work two or four hour shifts between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Both gardening and clean-up projects will be tackled.

Susan Wisk of the Miramonte High School Parents’ Club told Patch that parents, students, and community members are all welcome to pitch in. Student volunteer hours will be granted.

Gardening volunteers should bring water bottles, gloves, sun hats - and your own tools if you have them, such as weed buckets, weeding tools, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows.
