  • Do not leave cars or your house unlocked at night or when unattended.
  • Do not leave keys, wallets, gym bags, briefcases or other items of value...or items that a thief might think is valuable...in your unattended car. If you have to leave them in the car, secure them out of sight in the trunk.
  • Garage door openers can provide easy access into your home for a thief...is it secure?
  • Please check your security camera footage for Friday and Saturday nights and report any suspicious activity to the Moraga Police.
  • Report suspicious persons to the Moraga Police. What is suspicious? Do you see something out of the ordinary? It probably is not a normal thing for someone to be casually strolling down your street at 1 a.m. and checking car doors.

Police emphasize that if Moraga is seen as an easy target, it will draw even more criminals to come here and commit crimes.
