Wind Advisory For The East Bay Hills: National Weather Service

The Wind Advisory, expected to end Monday, has been extended.

EAST BAY — A Wind Advisory for the East Bay hills will continue until 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph can be expected, strong enough to bring down tree limbs and possibly cause power outages.

If you drive a high profile vehicle, you are asked to take extra precautions.

After a dry February, the chance of a wildfire is also increasing. There was a fire on San Bruno Mountain on the Peninsula last week that burned several acres.
