Woman's Body Found In Burning Car: Orinda

LAMORINDA, CA — One woman was killed in a fiery crash on Highway 24 in Orinda Thursday night. The California Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses.

The crash was reported around 9 p.m. on the westbound side of the road.

The first officer to arrive at the crash site found a Honda Civic fully engulfed in flames. It had crashed into a tree off the right side of the road.

Once the fire was out, the woman's body was discovered.
