The Bay Area native will also be honored with a career tribute, with full schedules and ticket details coming soon from the California Film Institute.
   

• Mildred Frances Minter (Milly) Jewell (thearknewspaper.com) — Friends and neighbors learn that longtime Marin volunteer Milly Jewell has died at 102 after a rich life in Tiburon and Greenbrae. In lieu of services, her family suggests memorial gifts to Friends of the Marin County Free Library or Larkspur-based By the Bay Health, honoring her love of books and community care.
