Corte Madera Woman Crashes into Music Store

An 82-year-old Corte Madera woman lost control of her vehicle and ran into the storefront of a Northgate Mall music store Monday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., the woman was driving her Honda sedan in the mall parking lot and suddenly accelerated and crashed into the display window next to the front of , according to the Marin Independent Journal.

No one was injured in the accident and the driver showed no signs of intoxication, San Rafael police told the Marin Independent Journal.

According to Rob Roth, sales manager at The Magic Flute, the damaged window was boarded up and the store was able to reopen for regular business hours the day after the incident.
