3K run/walk fundraiser for Lemon Grove Academy 8th Grade Class

Hello all! we are reaching out in hopes that you can join us this Sat Nov 7th 10:30am at Lemon Grove Academy for the Sciences and Humanities. Located at 7885 Golden Ave. Lemon Grove. CA.

Every year, the 8th graders take a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance located in Los Angeles CA. This year due to limited funding, the trip is in jeopardy and may not occur without our help!

This trip is meant to give our 8th graders a deeper understanding of what they learned about the Holocaust throughout the year. My oldest son Jonathan, had the opportunity to attend last year. He stated that the experience was unforgettable, moving and inspirational.

Here is how we can help!

The school is hosting a 3k walk/run. Donations are $10.00 per person or $30 per family. If you would like to help, but can’t commit to Sat 3k, the school is also accepting any amount donations. Please make checks- payable to: LGA PTA. Please mail your check directly to the school at the address mentioned above. Attention: Mrs. Brenda Schneenerger. Please don’t forget to write ‘8th grade Holocaust Fund’ on the memo part of your check.
