• Third Suspect Arrested In Lemon Grove Assaults (patch.com) — Lemon Grove residents are learning more about February's violent assaults after deputies arrested a third suspect linked to attacks that injured three people on Broadway. Investigators say the man is accused of joining two others in beating a male victim and then assaulting a woman and her adult daughter, allegedly brandishing a handgun before they escaped and called 911. Authorities are still encouraging anyone with information about the Lemon Grove case to contact the sheriff's office or Crime Stoppers.
   

• Community Development Block Grant 2027- 2028 (California) (fundsforngos.org) — Lemon Grove organizations are reminded that CDBG projects serving city residents must apply directly through the city's own Community Development Block Grant program, not the county's new funding round. The county is now accepting CDBG applications for unincorporated areas, focusing on affordable housing, housing stability, and quality-of-life improvements for low- and moderate-income residents across San Diego County.
