Authorities Say There May Be More Victims of Alleged Sex Trafficking

Sheriff's investigators say they are looking for victims of an area man they have accused of soliciting and using several young girls for prostitution.

San Diego County Sheriff’s investigators say they are looking for victims of an area man who they have accused of soliciting and using several young girls for prostitution.

Michael Lustig, 70, identified as a Rancho Santa Fe resident by the San Diego Union Tribune, was arrested Sept. 1, according to detectives.

A 12-year-old and a 13-year-old identified Lustig as the person who solicited and used them for prostitution, Sheriff’s officials said.

Lustig may now face charges of sex trafficking of a minor, detectives wrote in a news release.

Investigators said they believe Lustig victimized other women and minors.

“Any female who has been a victim of Lustig, whether financial compensation was received or not, is considered a victim,” officials wrote.
