Bomb Squad Investigates 'Military Device' In Lemon Grove
A caller reported finding the device at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lemon Grove.
LEMON GROVE, CA – A bomb squad safely impounded a possible military device Wednesday in Lemon Grove.
A caller reported finding the device at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lemon Grove, according to sheriff's officials. Deputies evacuated the area around the self-storage business, located in the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue, near Main Street. Some traffic lanes were also shut down as a precaution.
Officials have since reopened the area to the public.
