La Mesa Based Youth Coach Pleads Not Guilty
Gregory Eagles, a parent-volunteer coach for the San Diego Saints Traveling Hockey program, has been accused of possessing child pornography, authorities said.

A youth ice hockey coach accused of trading child pornography online pleaded not guilty today to four felony charges, including possession and distribution of child porn.
Gregory Eagles, 54, was arrested at his home in Chula Vista on Sept. 30 and posted $75,000 bail the next day.
Judge Laura Alksne ordered Eagles to have no contact with minors other than his own children. The defendant faces five years in prison if convicted.

The Navy veteran-turned-Navy contractor reportedly underwent three extensive background checks to become a parent-volunteer coach for the San Diego Saints Traveling Hockey program.
He was arrested by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a coalition of various law enforcement agencies and is charged with two counts each of possession and distribution of child pornography.
