Man With Alzheimer's Reported Missing Near College Grove

San Diego police asked the public Wednesday to help locate the 78-year-old man. Breaking.

SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diego police requesting the community’s help Wednesday to locate a 78-year-old missing man who has Alzheimer's disease.

Bobby "Ray" Reyes went missing at about 4 p.m. from the 3800 block of 69th Street, near the College Grove area. According to the San Diego Police Department, in addition to Alzheimer's, he is in the beginning stages of dementia.

Reyes does not have any identification with him but is wearing his medical ID bracelet.

Reyes is Latino, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has white hair, brown eyes and tanned skin, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He is also possibly wearing a white hat and has tinted prescription glasses.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000.
