Man Shot In Leg In Lemon Grove

LEMON GROVE, CA — A man was shot in the leg Monday morning in Lemon Grove, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 5:05 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of Washington Street, north of Blossom Lane, San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. Amber Baggs said.

The victim, a man whose age was not immediately available, was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of at least one gunshot wound to his leg, 10News reported.

No suspect description was immediately available.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting were under investigation.
